Warranty Policy

VJVO warrants that any VJVO hardware product that you purchase is free from
defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the specified warranty period.
The Service arm of VJVO India Pvt LtD, warrants your product against any tech
defect related to its components/software/user interface when purchased directly from VJVO
or its authorized reseller. No warranties or conditions, whether express or implied, will apply
after the limited warranty period has expired except under certain conditions if the warranty has
been extended. The warranty period and type of warranty service that apply to your product are
outlined below. This policy ensures you a trouble free and relaxed support system with clarity
of operation.

WARRANTY IS APPLICABLE ONLY WHEN:

Product is for personal use.
Product is under warranty period.
Product purchase invoice/bill (TAX PAID) is available and shown during repair.
Warranty and serial number stickers are intact and not tampered.
Product is not opened/attempted to repair except VJVO authorized centres and its authorized engineer(s).
Product PCBA & their components are not damaged, burnt, rusted, water-logged, tampered, etc (or any non repairable condition) etc.

WARRANTY CEASES IN CASES WHEN:

Any Remarking on the product such as mentioning the date of sale etc.
Trying to modify the actual product
Trying to tamper VJVO logo
Product is used for commercial purposes*
Resale of product after use etc.
Products with missing or altered service tags or serial numbers.
Product is not used as per instructions mentioned or improper use of products determined by VJVO or failure to perform preventive maintenance.
Product is not purchased from VJVO or its Authorised Sales channel both online and offline.
Product is placed at a site that is not recommended for operation.
Servicing not authorized by daWg.
Some accessory assembled in a system which is not sold by VJVO authorized channel.
Defects generated due to conditions/situation beyond control like lightening, surge/abnormal voltage, act of God etc.
External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse etc.
Normal wear and tear.
Software, including without limitation, the operating system and software added to the VJVO – branded hardware products through our factory-integration system,
third-party software or the reloading of software.

Products for which VJVO has not received payment

Damage caused by viruses, malware, worm, or similar malicious threats not introduced by VJVO;

HOW TO AVAIL WARRANTY SERVICE

If the product does not function as warranted during the warranty period, you may obtain warranty service by contacting VJVO or a VJVO approved Service Provider.

Warranty service may not be available in all locations and may differ from location to location, so it is recommended to check the website for the nearest service centre.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES FOR WARRANTY SERVICE

Before warranty service is provided, you must take the following steps:

Follow the service request procedures specified by the Service Provider.
Keep the original bills that come up with the product.
Backup or secure all programs and data contained in the product.
Provide the Service Provider with all system keys or passwords.
Provide the Service Provider with sufficient, free, and safe access to your facilities to perform service.
Remove or modify any confidential, proprietary, or personal data to prevent unauthorized access, as Zebronics is not responsible for any data loss or disclosure.

TYPES OF WARRANTY SERVICE:

1. DEAD ON ARRIVAL (DOA)

The duration of DOA is 15 days from the date of purchase.
As the name suggests, product should be in dead condition meaning product does not turn on at the time of operation.
User should submit such product to nearby Zebcare with its intact packing/accessories and in brand new condition.
Upon confirmation of defect from service centre, user shall be eligible for a brand new replacement.

2. UNDER WARRANTY (UW)

The duration between DOA and Out Of Warranty is known as under warranty duration.
User can get their product serviced from nearby service centre for any tech defect.
Under Warranty products are serviced in below mentioned manner.

A. Carry In / In-House/ Return To Bench Services
User is required to visit the nearby SERVICE CENTRE along with defective product. A list of VJVO Care and Authorised Service Providers and their contact details are available at: CONTACT 8989-4848-92

B. Onsite /Door Step Services
As per municipal limits and product category criteria, VJVO engineers visit the customer’s given address or seller place to repair the product.

On-site warranty service is applicable only in selective cities only.

3. OUT OF WARRANTY (OOW)
When the duration of the warranty expires for a particular product, user can rectify the defect of the product as per applicable charges in this duration.
Repair must be carried out at OFFICIAL SERVICE CENTRE’S only.
VJVO will provide support services to ‘out of warranty’ products, provided the said products and spare parts are available in its inventory.
In case of lack of availability due to the products/spare parts not being manufactured any more by VJVO (due to reasons attributable to advancement in technology,
innovation, new product launch etc.)
VJVO, at its sole discretion, may offer to provide the customer with an upgraded product or a refurbished product.
The cost of the upgraded product or a refurbished product, which is not negotiable, may vary product to product and the customer will be required to bear the same.

WARRANTY POLICY FOR DIFFERENT VJVO PRODUCT RANGE

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

VJVO is only liable for loss or damage to the product while it is in the possession of the service provider or in transit (if handled by the service provider).
Neither VJVO nor its service providers are responsible for any loss or disclosure of data, including confidential or proprietary information

VJVO is not responsible for damage arising from failure to following instructions relating to the product’s usage.

This Limited Warranty applies only to the product manufactured by or for VJVO that can be identified by the “VJVO” trademark trade name, or logo affixed to it.

Liability of VJVO in any dispute will be only to an extent of the total amount you paid for the order or product at issue.

VJVO, along with its affiliates, suppliers, resellers, and service providers, is not liable for

Claims from third parties seeking damages.
Loss, damage, or disclosure of personal or business data.
Special, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, such as loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or anticipated savings.
Total damages exceeding the amount paid for the product.
VJVO AND THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE SUPPORT.

If VJVO determines the issue with your product is related to a third-party software application,
VJVO may provide contact details for the third-party software supplier or assist in connecting with them.
The service provided by VJVO under this section is limited to as described above. To the extent permitted by law, VJVO is not responsible for third-party software or
the acts or omissions of any software supplier.

USE OF PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION

By requesting warranty service, you authorize VJVO to collect, store, and process your personal details, such as name, contact information, and address, to facilitate the service.
VJVO may also use this information for customer satisfaction inquiries, or recalls etc. Additionally, it may be shared with authorized entities acting on behalf of VJVO or disclosed
as required by law. More details are available in the VJVO privacy policy.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

The terms of warranty are liable to change from time to time without any notice to customers as per market trends and management discretion.

Warranty is non-transferable and shall not be considered in case of any resale.

The warranty period starts from the first purchase of the product.

Commercial purposes means product is used to achieve commercial or financial goals.*

It is expressly clarified that such products will have 3 months of warranty only.

Products used in an office environment through which administrative or clerical types of activities are conducted do not fall under this category.

VJVO reserve the right to deny the repair of an outdated model in case of spare unavailability until further confirmation.

VJVO shall not be responsible for the damages caused due to transportation/ any missing product(s) couriered by dealer/ end user to VJVO SERVICE CENTRE’S and
services are not provided for such cases except at the discretion of VJVO.

In the event of replacement, customer needs to visit nearby VJVO SERVICE CENTRE with the full product, its accessories with intact packing. Replacement at onsite not permitted.

Same colour combination cannot be committed in the event of replacement. Customer will have to accept the replacement with available colour combination in stock.

No DOA is applicable for the products that have been serviced on-site.

In the event of replacement, if same model is not available then an alternate model at an equivalent value shall be provided. Price of the product will be referred as current market rate
or user invoice rate, whichever is lower. If alternate model at an equivalent value is not available then a different model shall be issued with difference charges + GST.

If a product is used for 6 months and above, will attract depreciation in its value. Exchange/ refunds. Etc will be decided based on the depreciated value.

Out of warranty & Critical cases shall be accepted for repairing only as per applicable charges and subject to certain conditions on a case to case basis.
In the event, if the product can’t be repaired it shall be returned back to customer.

Onsite warranty is applicable to selective pin codes only.

Warranties might differ across all models of the same product category. Please ensure to check warranty term of a product on our website before purchasing.

VJVO reserves the right to retain any defective spares obtained from the user’s defective product against the new spare replaced by VJVO SERVICE CENTRE.
This is to ensure E-Waste compliance.

For products which do not fall under the category of onsite service, the customer can avail onsite services with the below-mentioned visiting charges:
1 to 25 Kms – Rs.150/-
26 to 50 Kms – Rs.200/-
51 to 75 Kms – Rs.250/-
76 to 100 Kms – Rs.300/-
101 to 125 Kms – Rs 500/-
126 to 150 Kms – Rs. 550/-
Distance will be calculated from zebcare pin code to user pin code via GOOGLE MAPS.

Any disputes arising out of the warranty shall be settled at the courts of INDORE, MADHYA PRADESH.
